Somehow we decided on a wee walk across the Strathaird peninsula from Kirkibost to Camsunary. We hoped we'd be able to cross the river there and walk around Rubha Bàn to Loch Choruisk. So we enjoyed a very pleasant walk up and over a saddle between Slat Bheinn and Ben Meabost before the weather, adventures crossing a stream and a sign saying that crossing the river at Camasunary was bound to be difficult dissuaded us from carrying on. However, we were treated to fantastic views of the Cuillins and a site of a wee bothy in Camas Fhionnairigh bay.

Still in the mood to explore, we drove to Elgol and discovered a fantastic tea-room which served teapigs teas and the widest range of scones ever.

Elly then treated Bruce to a drive through all of Glasnakille to try to find a way down to the Spar Cave. There were no obvious ways down to it and by now dusk was falling, so we headed back to Six Willows for tea, food and even more sleep!
