On Monday, while we were driving around Trotternish, we saw a wee road that leads from north-east of Uig east to Staffin. On the map were marked some mad crags, including Quiraing. So we wanted to have a look. More driving through Skye's fairly crazy roads took us to the lower car-park by a cemetary. However, this was far below the crags so Elly drove us back up the craziest road Glob has ever been on to a car-park above the crags. The wind was mild for that region and the rain seemed to be holding off so we started trudging towards Quiraing. However, our path was blocked by a stream-gorge so we didn't quite make it. Some day!
So, with rain looming over us, we drove down to Staffin to retry Columba 1400's veggie haggish and use their internet facilities. As far as we recall, we then drove back to Six Willows for even more sleep.
