My notes say...

Tram to Alexanderplatz.

S75 Stadtbahn to Zoobahnhof

Coffee in Cafe Zoo.

Walk along Ku'damm.

U7 (to) Berlinerstraße

U9 (to) Turmstraße.

Essen in department store Hertie on Turmstraße.

Alt-Moabit - prison/court.

Invalidenstraße - where the health centre was.

Hauptbahnhof.

S-bahn to Alexanderplatz.

Walked (along) Karl-Liebknecht-straße.

Kaffe Thürmann.

In Hertie's toilet, women's door notice said "Damen" but the men's door just had a picture. I take this as proof that women need instructions but men can just follow their noses.

Then to DDR-Museum. We avoided crowds by getting rained on. Still, (it was a) good museum.

Walked (along) Karl-Liebknecht-straße to Alexanderplatz, (then along) karl-Marx-Allee. International Kino no good and dog-shit (incident).

U-bahn Schillingstraße to Alexanderplatz.

Grump.

Tea and Hiroshima and mini-Berliners at cafe Segafredo in Alexanderplatz Bahnhof.

Oranienbergstraße.

Ate Indian at Armit.

We were going to take a tram back to our hotel but the line was blocked by a parked car. So we took the S-bahn to Friedrichstraße, then to Alexanderplatz, then took a tram to the hotel.

Recollection says...

Most of the places I wanted to see in Berlin were mentioned in stories by Sven Hassel. Moabit - a part of Berlin that was know for resistance to Adolf; Kurfürstendamm - because the name stuck.

However, I really wanted to see Bahnhof Zoo because of Christiane F.. Junkiedom always fascinates me.
